This project is a 3D modelling study of the character The Red Max from the animated series Wacky Races.

The character was built using a subdivision-based polygon modelling workflow rather than a sculpting pipeline such as ZBrush. The modelling process started from simple block forms derived from the original character design drawings, progressively refined into clean topology suitable for deformation and animation.

The full asset pipeline—including modelling, UV layout, texturing, rigging, and animation—was executed entirely in Autodesk Maya, without relying on external plugins or third-party tools. The rig was developed specifically to support character animation while maintaining the stylised proportions of the original design.
